I graduated from BCIT’s Broadcast and Online Journalism program where I learned to tell stories through a variety of mediums. During my time there, I’ve created projects that explore local events and current news, with a particular focus in music and arts. I’m most fond of writing, content creation and audio production, aiming to use these skills to tell the stories of my city.
I’m passionate about highlighting Vancouver’s vibrant music, film and fashion culture – particularly for people who often feel the city lacks energy or cultural excitement. Through storytelling and content creation, I strive to spotlight the creative communities, under-the-radar or emerging events, and established scenes I’ve gotten to know that make Vancouver more dynamic than it’s often given credit for.
I’m equally interested in community-driven and people-focused stories, and reporting that feature those working to make the city more compassionate and connected.
